KNOT FAST

WTR 2027

Four blokes.

Two charities.

One ocean.

In December 2027, four friends from Cheltenham, United Kingdom Oliver Bruce, Peter Lloyd, Tom Mayfield and Damien Mayhew will take on the World’s Toughest Row. A brutal, 3,000 mile, fully unsupported row across the Atlantic Ocean from La Gomera to Antigua.

No engines. No support. Just four men, one boat and the relentless Atlantic. Expect weeks of exhaustion, towering waves, sleep deprivation and sheer determination as they push themselves to the limit.

Every stroke counts. Every mile matters. This is more than a race. It is a mission.

Peter Lloyd

Peter Lloyd is a founder and operator with a proven record of scaling businesses across hospitality, marketing, and social care. Educated at a military boarding school, he developed early discipline and leadership before moving to the Cotswolds and taking control of a historic wedding venue and luxury B&B, growing it to over £1 million in annual revenue and hosting high-profile and celebrity guests.

Alongside this, Peter helped raise £30 million to launch a care home group from the ground up, now employing 200+ staff and recognised nationally for excellence, with features across BBC, Sky News, ITV, and beyond. Known for calm, solutions-focused leadership, he combines commercial discipline with a people-first culture.
